7th European Youth Music Festival, Switzerland
The 7th European Youth Music Festival will be taking place in
Switzerland in May of this year. It is being organised by the
European Music School Union (EMU), The Federation Schools of Music
of Switzerland (VMS) and the Association "Youth &
Music" (j+m). It is expected that there will be in excess of
8000 young musicians and music enthusiasts present from all over
Europe.
While at the EYMF Ceol na Mara will be staying near the town of
Schaffhausen in the North East of Switzerland.
Ceol na Mara depart Galway early in the morning of Tuesday the 14th
of May and arrive in Zurich at 18:00 (Local time). This begins their
program of events which is roughly as follows:
